Referral practice

Patients are offered an initial non-binding consultation. After this diagnostic assessment we will send you a doctor’s letter (by e-mail if requested) outlining the suggested treatment plan. The patients return to your dental practice free of inflammations and prepared for prosthetic treatment. We will only carry out the treatment previously agreed with the referring dentist (surgical or periodontal). The patient will be referred back to you for follow-up treatment.

Our Services

Surgical wisdom teeth extractions

If wisdom teeth are completely or partly impacted or their relationship to adjacent structures such as the inferior alveolar nerve cannot be clearly evaluated with panoramic imaging, further diagnostic measures or the referral to an oral surgeon is often recommended.

At our practice, oral surgery interventions are performed in a separate procedure room. The patient is contacted before the treatment and given information about the procedure itself, inherent risks and post-operative behavioral instructions in the case of wisdom tooth extraction. There is also a recovery room available for patients to relax before and after surgery. Your surgeon will schedule a follow-up appointment in our practice about one week after surgery for suture removal and to inspect wound control.

Apicoectomy

Root tip resections with a microsurgical apical seal result in improved tooth prognosis but are highly challenging from a technical perspective, especially in the case of posterior teeth and the corresponding equipment required.

Retrograde fillings are standard procedure with every treated root and are performed with magnification glass or under the microscope. Your surgeon will schedule a follow-up appointment in our practice about one week after surgery for suture removal and to inspect wound control.

3D radiography

Three-dimensional imaging or DVT is commonly used in many cases today, not only prior implant placement but also to determine the position of impacted teeth or to assess indeterminable pain.

You are welcome to refer patients to us to assess specific needs. Following the consultation, you will receive all data or screenshots, an implant treatment proposal, if required, and a doctor’s letter, briefly summarizing the findings, which we are happy to discuss with you or your patient.
