If wisdom teeth are completely or partly impacted or their relationship to adjacent structures such as the inferior alveolar nerve cannot be clearly evaluated with panoramic imaging, further diagnostic measures or the referral to an oral surgeon is often recommended.

At our practice, oral surgery interventions are performed in a separate procedure room. The patient is contacted before the treatment and given information about the procedure itself, inherent risks and post-operative behavioral instructions in the case of wisdom tooth extraction. There is also a recovery room available for patients to relax before and after surgery. Your surgeon will schedule a follow-up appointment in our practice about one week after surgery for suture removal and to inspect wound control.

Root tip resections with a microsurgical apical seal result in improved tooth prognosis but are highly challenging from a technical perspective, especially in the case of posterior teeth and the corresponding equipment required.

Three-dimensional imaging or DVT is commonly used in many cases today, not only prior implant placement but also to determine the position of impacted teeth or to assess indeterminable pain.

You are welcome to refer patients to us to assess specific needs. Following the consultation, you will receive all data or screenshots, an implant treatment proposal, if required, and a doctor’s letter, briefly summarizing the findings, which we are happy to discuss with you or your patient.

If you have already received conservative periodontal therapy but still have gingival pockets remaining, surgical treatment may be needed to eliminate inflamed gum tissue. Periodontal surgery is often considered the only option to successfully treat a tooth.

In the event that gingival recession cannot be controlled after cleaning training and suitable dental hygiene behavior, only a recession coverage can help to cover up unpleasantly exposed tooth necks.

Mucositis refers to an infectious condition of the tissue around implants, while peri-implantitis in further characterized by loss of bone. Peri-implantitis requires surgical treatment, and the result is very difficult to predict.

Non-surgical facial enhancements, ranging from the discrete use of dermal fillers to Botulinum Toxin and blepharoplasty, are easy and quick to administer and performed on an outpatient basis.
